What's needed to get a china restoration quote:
If you would like an estimated quote for china or ceramics repair, I would be happy to help. In the first instance, please can you send me the following information, as a minimum, by email to: info@chinarestorers.co.uk and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
- Diameter of original piece in cm or Height AND length of original piece in cm (not a photograph of your item next to a rule)
- Clear photos of the broken item/s with all the broken pieces if you still have them (I can make missing parts of china if you do not have all the broken pieces)
China Repair Checklist
As each item is individual in size, decoration, glaze and damage incurred, there are certain bits of information I need before I can give estimated repair quotes, so please refer to my checklist first.
How much is china restoration?
My work is of the highest quality and I pride myself in providing invisible china repairs where possible so I may not be the cheapest but I will do a fantastic job for you!
Minimum Charge
I have a minimum charge of £130 per item plus an hourly rate thereafter of £130.
How to Pay
All china restoration work undertaken is payable upon receipt of invoice please. Once payment is received in full your restored item will be available for your collection or posting back to you.
I accept payment by Bacs which is the preferred method and my bank details are on my invoices. Unfortunately I am not longer able to accept cheques as a form of payment.
Please refer to my full terms and conditions for china restoration.
Specialist Menders in The Press
I have been featured in November 2020 issue of Country Life, which was quite a surprise as I didn't know they were adding me to their directory of specialist menders, but it was very nice that they did :)
Please do have a read of the Country Life article called Make Do And Mend, which also features Kate Middleton (but she's not mending china!)
